Scope
This notice applies to the public contact form, provider sign-in, and protected legal-intake service on this website. Legal and real-estate services are separate professional relationships. The protected intake is operated for A R Gangani Professional Corporation.
Information we collect
Depending on the service you use, we may collect:
- your name, verified email address, phone number, and contact preference;
- the legal service, transaction type, property details, deadlines, and notes you provide;
- names of other parties for preliminary conflict screening;
- documents or images you intentionally submit when document upload is available;
- your required accuracy, no-retainer, and privacy consents, including the notice version and submission time; and
- visits and interactions on public marketing pages measured through Google Analytics, such as referring page and general browser, device, and location information; and
- limited security and request data such as an IP address, browser information, and request time.
Google, Apple, Microsoft, or Yahoo handles your sign-in. The service receives the provider's account identifier and the name or email address the provider makes available.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate you, resume and secure your intake, assess your request, perform preliminary conflict screening, communicate with you, route materials to authorized firm personnel, maintain the record, and investigate security or service issues. Submission does not guarantee representation or create a retainer.
Legal-service information is handled by A R Gangani Professional Corporation. Real-estate inquiries are handled separately by Al Gangani through The Guardian Home Realty Inc., Brokerage.
Storage, access, and service providers
Protected intake records and accepted documents are saved in a private Microsoft 365 SharePoint library controlled by the firm. Clients are not given access to that library. Access is limited to authorized firm owners, members, and staff with a business need. Uploaded documents are quarantined pending security review and must not be treated as accepted into a matter until the firm confirms them.
Amazon Web Services hosts the public website, provider-sign-in session, and secure routing service. Microsoft 365 stores the protected intake package. The website does not maintain a separate AWS database containing client intake answers or documents. Providers may process information in accordance with their own contractual and legal obligations.
Google Analytics is used on public marketing and privacy pages to understand website use. It is not loaded on the protected quote, sign-in callback, client-intake, or document-upload pages. Google may process public-page usage and device information under its own privacy terms.
Ten-year retention and secure destruction
The firm retains protected intake records and submitted client files for at least ten years from the date the firm receives them. Records may be kept longer when required by a legal hold, applicable law, professional obligations, an active matter, a complaint, an investigation, or another documented business or legal requirement.
After the applicable retention period and any hold have ended, the firm reviews the record for secure destruction under its approved records process. Destruction is not triggered solely by a client request when the firm is required or permitted to retain the record.
Security
The service uses HTTPS, federated sign-in, short-lived secure cookies, anti-forgery controls, restricted SharePoint application access, opaque intake and file names, integrity-protected intake manifests, file-type and size validation, quarantine, audit logging, and Microsoft 365 access controls. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be risk-free.
